Acceptance
By installing or using Decibel Meter Premium, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Permitted use
You may use the app for lawful personal or professional reference purposes. Do not use it to violate another person’s privacy, interfere with a device or service, or misrepresent a consumer estimate as a certified measurement.
Measurement accuracy and safety
Readings are estimates affected by microphone quality, device processing, cases, input routes, orientation, position and the surrounding environment. Automatic device profiles do not make an unknown phone a certified instrument.
Local data and sharing
The app stores calculated session data locally and does not save raw microphone audio. You control optional session details and exports. Once you share a PDF, PNG or CSV, the destination controls that copy.
Optional pseudonymous Firebase diagnostics are governed by the consent controls and disclosures in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The app, website, branding, interface and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms permit use of the app; they do not transfer ownership of the product or its branding.
Availability and updates
Features, compatibility and availability may change as the app is improved. The publisher may correct defects, update platform support or discontinue a feature. No uninterrupted or error-free operation is promised.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” The publisher is not responsible for decisions made by treating an estimated reading as a certified result. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be published here with a revised effective date before the related app update is released.
